July's Newsletter

Salutations, readers! July's just about up, and there still hasn't been an update. For that, I apologize. Several things preoccupied me these past two weeks, and I don't apologize for that necessarily. Some stuff needed to be dealt with, and I was needed to be present for a number of things. I won't bore you with my private life, so let's move on.

Starting in August, we hope to bring you some Season Two episodes. At the very least, I hope to bring you the episodes featuring Po Kong and Hsi Wu. As mentioned in the previous post, those two Demons come first. What can I tell you about these two in the new Alternate Reality? Well...

For Po Kong's episode, it'll be a bit like a Godzilla flick. Except Po Kong is a she, and she isn't trying to save human lives from other gargantuan monsters like herself. No, because the Chans are a step behind the Dark Hand, Po Kong will get to ravage Tokyo for a while, unlike when she was initially released in the Original Reality, and got herself sealed away almost immediately after being released from limbo. It'll be up to Jackie once again to seal Po Kong away, but with the Japanese military around, will it be possible to even get within a mile of Po Kong?

And Hsi Wu's episode. Hsi Wu's episode may have a change in plot, but at the moment... Hsi Wu will be released from the Netherworld, and will make his way to San Francisco. Now, because of the loss of his tail in the Original Reality, Hsi Wu did not get to do much after being released the first time. So, what would he do, if he were not preoccupied with regaining his tail? Well, he could do a multitude of things, but in this Reality, Hsi Wu chooses to become a 'hero' of the night in San Francisco. But what kind of hero? Superhero, or Antihero? The answer becomes obvious as time progresses, and when the Chans confront Hsi Wu at last.

So, things are a bit different this time around. The Chans are a step behind the Dark Hand, and Demons get to do more than they did in the Original Reality. I look forward to penning all the Demons' exploits, and making additions to this Season.

Next month's Newsletter may center around the return of Queen Jade and Tchang Zu's episode. At least, I hope to be up to that point by the end of next month. I didn't talk much about the writing this Newsletter, but July did not consist of a lot of that. A lot of planning, but not much writing. Until next time, readers! We hope to publish Chapter Fifteen soon!
